Serving the Wasatch Front Since 1970

John’s Towing is locally owned and operated and has been serving Utah County and the Wasatch Front for over 50 years.


John Sorensen founded John’s Towing in 1970 with just one truck. John’s son, James, grew up helping with the family business, and in 1985 when James was old enough to drive, he began towing for his father. James bought the business from his father and became the owner in January of 1990.


John’s Towing has since grown into a well-known business in the community. In 2018, John's Towing was purchased by James' son-in-law, Josh.


We are now operating with seven trucks and six employees and serving many auto/mechanic's shops in American Fork and surrounding areas. We're involved with the community. We have been the trusted towing company for over 50 years, and we look forward to serving you.
